"The material presented in this manual has been well-written in accordance with generally recognized engineering principles and practices and is balanced in writing style, chapter length, and operation discussions. The book focuses on consolidating operational technologies under a comprehensive view of facility operation for nitrogen and phosphorus removal from wastewater.[...] This is an excellent reference book for consulting engineers, designers, and operations managers of nutrient removal facilities."--Lawrence K. Wang and Mu-Hao S. Wang, consultants and professors at the Lenox Institute of Technology June 2014 issue of Water Environment & Technology
Operation of Nutrient Removal Facilities is ideal for plant managers, operators, design engineers, and regulators looking to gain a better understanding of fundamental biological and chemical processes that are in use at nutrient removal facilities and the ways that operators may use, monitor, and control these processes to meet their facility’s treatment goals.
